Над 21 млн. лв. са инвестирани в рехабилитацията на 32 км от път II-59 Момчилград – Крумовград

The rehabilitation of more than 26 km from the second-class road II-59 Momchilgrad-Krumovgrad-Ivaylovgrad has been successfully completed. The investment is close to BGN 18 million. The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the national budget, provided through the INTERREG V-A Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020 Cooperation Program. The site is part of the project “Aimed at improving cross-border accessibility,", with the acronym CrossBo, to which the Road Infrastructure Agency is a beneficiary.
The repair of the route passes through four settlements - Krumovgrad, Polkovnik Zhelyazovo, Rogach and Pelin. A complete reconstruction of the road surface was carried out in Krumovgrad. A new asphalt pavement has been laid throughout the rehabilitated section. Drainage with new concrete borders, drainage chutes and lined trenches has been improved. All drains have been cleaned and extended and five new ones have been built. New traffic barriers, road signs and markings have been installed. In the area of 41 km is built a reinforced concrete wall with a length of 46 meters. The slope behind the wall is reinforced by geogrid and humus.
The rehabilitation of the road section from Krumovgrad to the fork for the village of Popsko /from km 30+439 to km 56+861.68 /, with a length of 26,422 km, was implemented by Association "PAT II-59", which includes: G.P. Group JSC and Kontratas Inglesias JSC. The contract for construction works of BGN 17 989 382,71 incl. VAT.
The construction supervision was carried out by PLAN INVEST PLOVDIV LTD. Their contract is BGN 220 056 incl. VAT.
The copyright is supervised by Transconsult-22 Ltd. Their contract is for BGN 4,200 with VAT.
